St. Patrick's Day: Shamrock Shakes

2 cups mint ice cream
1/3 - 1/2 cup milk, half and half, or heavy cream
2 Tbsp Creme de Menthe liqueur
a few drops of Green food coloring
Chocolate mint cookies

  1. In a blender blend all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Add more milk to reach desired thickness.
  3. Serve with crumbled chocolate mint cookies.
  4. This amount yield 2 small shakes
